Funny Cat Friday: Little Girl Teaches Her Cats To Draw A Flower

Sharing Is Caring ♥ Thank You!

I’ve got a treat for all you cat lovers today on this “Funny Cat Friday!” I don’t know if you’ve seen it or not but this little girl teaches her cats “Robert (Douglas)” and “John Henry (Jurandir)” to draw a flower and it is precious!

Oh the imagination of a child — it’s a beautiful thing to behold!

Little Girl Teaches Her Cats To Draw A Flower With Purrfect Attention

Watch as this precious little girl teaches her cats to draw a flower with purrfect attention! #cats #catlovers #kidsandcats #CatsofTwitter Tweet This

These cats amaze me! They are hanging on her every word. I bet most parents during this quarantine having to teach their kids wish their children were half this attentive 🤣 Stellar students, these two cuties!

In this heartwarming video, the little girl is speaking what is believed to be Brazilian Portugese. According to a reader on Reddit, this is the translation:

Any questions, just ask!” “And now, the root!” “Now, the root just like the other side.” “Did you get it? It’s a flower.” “Now draw!” “Did you understand, Robert?” “Did you understand, John Henry?” “Look. Did you get it? This is how you draw a flower.”

I’d say we’ve got a brilliant future artist on our hands here. What do y’all think? Professor? Veterinarian? Whatever she ends up being, she sure is adorable!

As for Robert and John Henry – their newfound celebrity status is well deserved! Bravo kitties, bravo — top notch performance! *standing ovation*

  1. I loved that video. How did those cats just sit there for that long? I don’t know either. Adorable.

I linked this post to Feline Friday.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Holly. Big hug. ♥

  2. This is absolutely adorable!! I can’t believe how patiently they just sit there and listen to her! And I love their names! Thank you for sharing this. Sending love and hugs your way!

    1. Aren’t those names adorable? It made the whole story that much more of an “Aww” factor to me! 😀 I am so glad you enjoyed it. It was just too sweet not to share. Like you, I couldn’t believe how they sat there and just listened to her every instruction. Now, if they started drawing that flower…. 🙀🤣

Sending love & hugs right back to you!

  3. There’s no way you can’t go ‘awwwww’ at this! Perfect for Funny Cat Friday, love it. Those cats though, they’re amazingly well behaved to sit there like that, so chilled out. My cat would be wriggling around and having a toddler tantrum within 5 seconds of being sat there.

This is one sweet and intelligent little girl. The way she asks to check that Robert and John Henry have understood her instructions… she would make an excellent teacher one day! xx

    1. Poor Virgil! He gets such a bad rap! 🤣 You don’t think he’d be patient enough to draw a flower for his mama, huh? ha ha!

I agree with you 100% — she does seem to be a special little girl that could very well grow up to be a great teacher some day. I’m glad you caught that she came back to see if John Henry and Robert got her instruction. That part was my favorite too! Adorable.

I’m glad you enjoyed this my friend. I always love hearing your thoughts! ♥
