We all know our cats are masterminds. The thoughts going on inside those massive brains of theirs must be helplessly overwhelming for us hoomans to even begin to comprehend. 😀

Most of our cats love chasing the dot from the laser pointer. I also have string toys they chase, ambush and actually catch, since I think is frustrating for them not to catch the laser spot.
It’s funny you mention that because we do the very same with Dizzy for the very same reason!
The laser pointer is great for helping them expend some of that crazy energy but as you said, must be frustrating! The simple toys seem to be a big hit here!

It’s been a long time since I’ve had any kitties, but we never played with the laser pointer. We played many other things, but I didn’t know about that. This was many years ago.

I suppose it’s much the same as us humans. The options available for play when I was a kid were far from the same as the endless options kids have nowadays 🙂

Hahah that pic makes me chuckle! I’ve never used a laser pointer for my cat but I’ve flashed the torch around before. But, like anything that’s supposed to be fun, he’s interested for all of 5 seconds then looks at me with a catty sigh as if to say ‘come on, this is not sophisticated enough for me, grow up’. xx
Hahaha, uh huh, sounds familiar Caz 😀 They have zero troubles letting you know what their opinions on the matter are! Guess that’s part of what I love about cats, you know? She does enjoy her laser pointer. 🙂 But we do try to mix it up. Don’t want her getting frustrated that she can never “win.”
