Yaheetech Cat Tree Review – Honest Thoughts From A Cat & Her Human

Sharing Is Caring ♥ Thank You!

It’s no secret to cat parents. Cats love to climb as high as possible, including on top of your refrigerator! It gives them a feeling of safety and exercises their muscles. If we don’t provide them their own furniture to do so – well, they’ll gladly use tear up ours theirs! 😀

If you’re about ready to pull your hair out in frustration over your cat’s climbing habit, don’t miss my review of this Yaheetech cat tree. It might save your sanity & your budget!

Update: We have had this cat tree for almost 2 years now and it is still close to like new! Our cats play on it, sleep on it, and stalk birds on it through the window — every single day! i can confidently recommend this yaheetech cat tree and any others they sell.

Our Experience With The 62″ Yaheetech Cat Tree Condo

If you are a cat parent, you know how cheaply made cat furniture can be. I’ve seen some cat trees that costed a fortune and weren’t worth $5. Our felines are tough on stuff, right?!

It’s important we have pieces of furniture for them that can stand the test of time & don’t break our bank either! This Yaheetech cat tree fits the bill!

If you are looking for value and durability, read on because you will love this one!

First, I’d like to briefly touch on a few equally important points about choosing Yaheetech.

Customer service:

From my personal experience, this was an easy 5 out of 5 stars! Communication was prompt, courteous, helpful and all-around fantastic!

Any questions were answered promptly, kindly, and thoroughly. I don’t know about you but this makes me smile!

Shipping and Arrival :

Another 5 out of 5 stars! This cat tree condo was at my door in 2 days via FedEx Home delivery!

The shipping box was secured and well packed inside. Zero complaints here.

Assembly Prep:

I don’t know about you, but one of the most frustrating things to encounter is when you are preparing to put something together and you’re missing a part!

I wanted to be sure that wasn’t the case with this Yaheetech cat tree. Taking each piece out one by one, I laid them out on the floor arranged by their assigned number.

I grabbed the assembly instructions book and checked to ensure all the parts were there.

Not one thing was missing! Thank you Yaheetech! 😀

Ease of Assembly:

Another 5 out of 5 stars from me. Putting this cat tree condo together takes very little effort. Even the most assembly-challenged among us can handle getting this together in no time.

The assembly instructions booklet could be a little clearer in some parts, but it’s nothing that prevents you from finishing the job.

If you’re a little stuck in places – simply having a look at the finished product picture will help you understand clearly where your next piece will go. I promise you – you can do it!

The individual pieces of this cat tree have little sticky numbers attached to them. The instruction booklet clearly shows you where each number is supposed to go.

Line them up accordingly and you’re done! And yes, it will tell you how many you should have of each as well in total.

There is a provided allen wrench and that is the only tool required for assembly. It honestly could not be easier. Most people will have this piece of furniture assembled in 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Yaheetech Cat Tree: Dizzy Tested & Approved

Our Dizzy can be a tough critic when it comes to cat toys or anything new for her “kingdom.” Both Bill and I were very curious how quickly she would explore this piece.

Kitty curiosity wins again! As soon as she came from her little stroll outside, she immediately investigated this beautiful piece of art that’s allll hers! 🙂 After that, she tested out every nook and cranny of it she could!

As you can see, the color and quality of the fabric used are excellent. The plush carpet is incredibly soft to the touch.

I chose the dark grey color and it has a beautiful bluish tint to it. It will easily blend in with various home decor.

The plush bed at the top remains our kiddo’s favorite napping spot, even after 2 years of use!

I must say, I’d probably nap there too because it feels amazing to the touch.

See how much cushion there is in these photos below?

Yaheetech Cat Tree: Other Noteworthy Features

I could go on and on about why our cats love this tree, but I’d like to switch gears and talk about why YOU and your cat(s) would love this Yaheetech cat tree too!

yaheetech cat tree
Plenty of space to sleep, play, and scratch!

Here’s What’s To Love!

  • Each scratching post is wrapped in a very strong and durable sisal rope. After having this tree for 2 years now of continual scratching, our sisal rope is fraying but still holding strong!
  • E1 particle board construction ensures durability, strength, and value for the money.
  • Included safety strap gives you the option to attach this tree to the wall for added stability.
  • Large enough for multi-cat homes! Plenty of space to sleep, play, and stretch!
  • Solid construction should be sturdy enough for our (*ahem*) chunkier kitties!
  • The fabric feels incredibly soft to the touch. It’s also very easy to keep clean!
  • Sizes available make this a great option for small rooms or apartments.

The one & only minor gripe I have is that this cat tree does have a little bit of a wobble on our floor. (Not everyone will experience this). We live in an older home from the ’20s so our floors have ‘settled’ in some spots.

The wobble isn’t enough to bother our cats in the slightest.

Even though this is no big deal, it’s worth taking into consideration what type of floor you’ll be placing this cat tree on in your home.

To be honest, remedying any wobble is simple which is why I can’t take anything away from this great cat tree for it. I just like to be 100% honest in my reviews which is why I mention it at all.

  1. I’ve thought about getting a cat tree, but our kitties are so happy with a room full of cardboard boxes, plus they have their kitty steps on the wall and telephone pole to get up to their hammocks, that I never got a cat tree. They did love the catmas tree I made them for Christmas. I took it down before it became a permanent fixture taking up half the room, and put it out side under a shad structure by the shed. They were sad when I took out, but they still use it outside.

    1. Those cardboard boxes get ’em every time, hah! I must admit, your crafty projects for the kitties are fascinating! The hammocks are brilliant so I can only imagine what the rest must be like 🙂

Do your cats enjoy the kitty steps on the wall? We’ve been considering some for here. Diz was born extremely clumsy though (possibly eyesight related) so we have some concerns about her using those.

      Thanks Tim for your comments!

      1. The kitties love the steps on the wall. You can see Spunk and Silver on them at https://wp.me/p1yQyy-45z. The kitties run up and down the steps, and lie on the top step waiting for a hammock to become available. They also love to scratch on the telephone pole along with climbing it to get to the top of the bookcase and over to a hammock. I want to put two more hammocks on the opposite wall, but I haven’t figured out a good way for the kitties to get up to and down from the hammocks once they are hung.

      2. Went to that link you provided. They are ridiculously ADORABLE kitties! 😀 I loved how they truly did look like statues on your wall. haha. Cats are hilarious creatures.

I absolutely love the way the stairs look on your wall. It honestly looks as though they’ve always been there with the house. Beautifully done. We just might have to try a project like that here for our chunky monkey. 🙂

      3. Thanks, Holly. Things like stairs on the walls, hammocks and lots of boxes make for very happy kitties.

      4. It sure does! They may be complex but they’re also very simple creatures at times. Boxes are always a hit! I’ve always liked the “if I fits I sits” cat campaign. Very cute … and true too! Hope everyone there is having a great day!

  2. What a great review! If I have a cat I’ll buy for sure. Sadly, cats are not allowed in our home because of my kids’ allergies. But growing up we have so many cats at home.

    1. Aww Winnie, thank you! Your words of encouragement mean so much.

I am so sorry to hear how your kids suffer from those terrible allergies. I was allergic to dogs all of my growing up years so I understand their frustration. It’s sad to be without an animal because the body has a mind of its own! I pray they will grow out of allergies so they can enjoy at some point.

I bet you have some wonderfully entertaining cat stories having grown up with cats in your home. I’d love to hear more. 🙂

Have a beautiful day, Winnie. Thank you so much for coming by and sharing your thoughts! ♥

      1. You’re very much welcome, Holly! Ironically, we have a dog lol. My children’s Pediatrician scolded me once because she saw a picture of our dog in social media. 😁

Great! You have given me a new topic to post. I’ll share soon.

Have a beautiful day too, Holly! It’s my pleasure! 😊❤️

  3. What a great review and what a good looking cat tree. Some are just ugly, but this one is most attractive.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

    1. Hi Sandee! It really is a great tree. I’m impressed. Like you said, some are just an eyesore in the home. This is big enough to be useful for kitties but small enough to still be reasonable decor.

Wishing you a beautiful day too my friend. Good to see you! ♥

  4. I get what you mean about being nervous, so it’s always good when something turns out to be great and recommendable! This looks very impressive. It’s twice the height of the one my cat has and far more extensive with levels and the little house on the side. Actually, the one my cat has is falling apart and really should be upgraded. The only plus side was that it was small so I picked it up from a store fully made so I got to skip the construction process! Aww I’m sure Dizzy is going to be very happy with her new cat tree house! I hadn’t heard of yaheetech before but I’ve just found their products on the UK Amazon which is brilliant.
This is very funky, my cat will be jealous! 😂
A very comprehensive, thoroughly helpful, review – you’ve done a brilliant job with it!
    Caz xx

    1. It’s funny you should mention understanding the nervous part – I had a feeling you could relate. 🙂 What a sigh of relief when it turns out well, right? 🙂

I chuckled when you mentioned the one you got for your kitty being fully assembled. Sometimes those are the very best ones. We don’t always feel like fooling with putting something together. Especially when the instructions are poor at best! If yours is falling apart – I take that as a sign your boy has been enjoying it? 🙂

By the way, you reminded me about something. I had been meaning to “activate” Amazon OneLink where links out to their products are clickable for UK and Canada as well. Is that working on your side now? I added the code yesterday. I’m curious if it will redirect you to UK Amazon now?

Thanks so much Caz for your thoughtful comments, as always. You’ve made me smile. I do think you and your kiddo would enjoy this particular tree quite a bit. You’d have to share the funny photos that ensue. 😛

Wishing you a really awesome day and hoping you are well! ♥

      1. I’d like to say my katkins is enjoying it, but I think the fact that it’s falling apart is more to do with how many times I’ve walked into it and moved it around the living room 😂
I had a lot of hassle with One Link and eventually emailed Amazon to enquire why it wasn’t working… turns out it’s only for US users. As I’m in the UK, I can’t use it. A lot of time wasted and silly amounts of getting stressed out but never mind – It seems like such a good idea in theory so I don’t know why UK users can’t use it as it would make it so much easier for those wanting to view what we’re talking about in a blog post. I’ve gone back to using two links now, one for Amazon UK & one for US. However, if you’re in the US and you add the code, like you have, it should redirect those in other countries that you’ve added to your Amazon program account to the correct site for them.
I’ve just clicked the Amazon link you’ve put in this post again and can confirm… IT WORKS! Hurrah! It redirects to Amazon UK so it looks like you’re all set 🙂
        Caz xx

      2. 😂 Your stories make me laugh every time Caz. Being under construction here with endless home remodel projects happening, Diz can relate to having her tree moved all over creation and she ain’t happy! 😀 It’s sad what we humans do to these superior creatures, isn’t it?

As for Amazon OneLink – good grief! I am so sorry to hear you went through all that mess only to find out it wasn’t available to folks living in the UK. I wholeheartedly agree with you – not making it available to everyone seems like a waste. It’s also quite a hassle to make it necessary to sign up for each and every country. (sigh) I’d noticed that you do use UK & USA links and figured there must be a reason. In the blogging world, we have readers from all over the globe. It should be easy for them to reference what we are reviewing or discussing. Why do some companies make everything so blasted hard to do sometimes? *rant over* Sorry about that!

I do appreciate you taking the time to check that link for me though, Caz. You’re the best – thank you! ♥ Let me know if I can help you in any way too (any time!) I mean that sincerely.

  5. What a nice detailed review .It sounds so exciting for a cat and the owner to own it, am sure I would enjoy just watching them play on it .

    1. Aw! Bless your heart! Thank you so much for your kind & thoughtful words.

I agree with you – It is a lot of fun to just sit & watch their free entertainment unfold. Much better than paying for a movie! 😀

    1. You just described it so perfectly – a cat paradise! 🙂 Does your baby love doing acrobatics all over the thing or decide to play it safe? 😉 Great to hear from you! Thank you so much for coming by ♥

  6. Hi. You did a really thorough review of this cat tree, and this is very useful to people trying to sift through all of the cat trees available today! Not sure if this manufacturer offers replacement parts, but if you are asked about this, we would be happy to have you send them our way.

    1. Hi Tommy Catman! Thank you for your kind words about my post. I have taken a look at your website and see that you have many useful products for replacing the most commonly worn out pieces on our favorite cat trees. I’ve got to soon re-do ours and may be giving you a visit. Take care! 🙂
