Blue Ridge Mountains
The Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, there’s nothing like them! You are guaranteed to find some peace of mind (and body) here.
If you happened to read my award acceptance post, you’ll know that the mountains of Va are where I most love to be and consider home. Something about the mountains, for me personally, refreshes the soul like nothing else can.
The much simpler, slower, quieter pace of life, it’s incredible. Seeing and hearing nature at its finest and most undisturbed, serene natural habitat, what’s better?
My husband and I are here taking a much needed break for some R&R. You may not be hearing much from me for a little while as a result. ☺

Me too. My favorite place. We live in foothills and I can be in the quiet of the BR Patkway near Meadows of Dan in less than an
hour.

Living in Georgia allows Neal and I to also enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains as we love to travel to a small town nearby called Cherry Log. The beauty of this area is a constant inspiration for my photography and relaxation!

I bet the local trails there are incredible. I share your love for those, actually. In the Blue Ridge, there are some incredibly relaxing and peaceful trails to get lost in the beauty of nature. What a heavenly place .Just looking at the pictures makes me relax .I think its a great place to unwind and be one with nature .It’s not to far from NC , so hopefully will make a visit there sometime.Thank you for sharing !
You would absolutely love it! If you enjoy nature and solitude, peace and quiet – I highly recommend you visiting here. If you are familiar with Mt. Airy, NC, it’s not terribly far from there 🙂
